MacRumors is currently running an article claiming there will be no Adobe Flash support for the Apple iPhone. You can find the full article here.
It was revealed yesterday at the WWDC, the Apple Developer conference, that the iPhone would include “support for Web 2.0 applications.” I guess we will just have to wait and see if Apple’s definition of “Web 2.0 applications” includes HTML and JavaScript, but not Flash.

My 17″ Macbook Pro battery is not only bulging, but has now burst out of its casing to reveal its inner guts.
I know the whole bulging/swollen Macbook Pro battery thing isn’t exactly ‘news‘ to most people anymore, however the most disturbing thing is that shortly after I first noticed the slight bulging, I removed the battery and put it away until I could head over to the Apple Store and get a replacement.
When I found some time to head over, I dug up the battery and noticed it looked a little different from the last time I had set eyes upon it. It seems that the casing had burst open; even after I had removed the battery from the notebook and placed it in a cupboard for safe keeping.

I think this is important to note as it could mean that faulty batteries may explode or catch fire even if they are not attached to your notebook at the time.
Although I haven’t heard any cases of Apple batteries exploding quite yet, my advice to anyone planning on returning theirs, is to make sure its stored in a secure location in the meantime.
Note: My Macbook Pro was an older Intel core duo, not one after the product “refresh”

A new beta of Virtue Desktop, the multi workspace app for OS X, is now available for download, fixing a number of issues.
If you are using a Mac and want to improve your productivity when using multiple programs, make sure you check it out. VirtueDesktop is without doubt one of the most groundbreaking applications I have ever used. Sure it’s a little buggy here and there, so if thats not your deal you may want to wait till OS X Leopard; which has similar functionality built straight into the operating system.
You can find out more about the beta over at VirtueDesktops site.

I was initially going to write a post on how I was expecting some cool things to start appearing on Adobe labs over the next couple of days, coinciding with the Adobe MAX event in Las Vegas; but it looks like I’m already a little slow out of the starting gates.
Not only does the Adobe Labs section on Adobe.com sport a new logo, there are also two cool new things to try out, the best of the two being, of course, Flex Builder 2 Beta for Mac. We’ve been waiting a little while for this one you see.
Next up is a digital e-book reader named Adobe Digital Editions, this allows you to view and read e-books. At first I thought it was an Apollo application, but the FAQ states “not yet.”

I think they like my iRadiator MacBook pro; it’s nice and cosy, like a warm inviting fireplace on a chilly evening. Besides, everyone knows ants love juicy sweet apples, and rest assured my Mac is both sweet and juicy, just not in that kind of way. I don’t think I’ve dropped any food on the keyboard, but even if I did, they’ll probably cut it into little pieces and take it home, wherever that may be.
With the cold weather starting to set in, I can’t really blame them either. However, any suggestions on how to get the little red ants moving on would be great; as long as they don’t include rat poison, boiling water or improvised incendiary devices.

I just couldn’t resist it any longer.
Yesterday I buckled under the pressure and bought myself a shiny new 17″ MacBook Pro.
